Terms of use
Read the Free Games terms covering browser game availability, independent editions, use of the service, privacy information and contact details.
You can play every game on Free-Games.to for free, without an account and without installing anything. These terms explain what you can expect from the site and what we expect from you. They apply to all 81 games, the chess clock, the 27 guides in the playbook and every other page on this domain.
Using the games
Access is open and free. Availability depends partly on your own device and browser.
Clauses 1 to 4
- You may play the browser games on this site without paying and without creating an account.
- Availability and compatibility vary by device and browser. A game that runs on a desktop may behave differently on a phone.
- Games may change without notice as problems are fixed or rules are corrected.
- Local records, including favorites and personal bests, can be lost if you clear browser data. We cannot restore them, because they were never stored on our servers.
Game editions and rights
Many games here are independent browser adaptations. That status matters legally as well as editorially.
Clauses 5 to 8
- Browser recreations are not represented as original commercial releases.
- Names and marks belonging to other publishers remain the property of those publishers. Use of a title identifies the rules an edition follows; it does not imply endorsement.
- Do not redistribute third-party assets merely because they can be viewed through this site.
- Our own code, artwork and text remain ours. Rights questions go to the contact page, with the work and the exact page address named.
Fair use of the service
The site is small and runs on shared infrastructure. Treat it accordingly.
Clauses 9 to 12
- Do not interfere with the service or attempt unauthorized access to it.
- Do not use automated traffic, scrapers or load generators in a way that disrupts games for other people.
- Do not attempt to submit falsified scores or tamper with another person’s records.
- We may restrict access from a source that is causing disruption.
Guides, scores and accounts
The editorial and account features carry their own limits.
Clauses 13 to 16
- Guides are informational. A guide such as the one on browser game controls describes how our editions behave; it does not promise a competition result.
- Scores are supplied by your browser and are not verified. There is no global leaderboard on this site.
- Google sign-in is optional. It adds a private play history and unlocks no extra games.
- You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Doing so removes the stored profile and play history from the application.
Liability, privacy and contact
The site is provided as it is, for entertainment and practice.
Clauses 17 to 19
- Tools built for use alongside physical play, such as the chess clock, are timing aids. Any tournament rules you play under take precedence over the tool.
- Read the privacy policy for what is stored in local storage, what an account holds and what a server request records.
- These terms may be updated as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page.
Questions about a bug, a correction or your rights are welcome. Start at the game library if you simply want to play, or at the board strategy collection if you want a game you can share with someone in the same room.
